This San Francisco Edwardian row house was re-imagined to have an informal, open plan, with comfortable easy flow and a strong visual connection to the rear yard.

Vestiges of the original double parlor rooms remain in the form of short wing walls, which help to define smaller, more intimate spaces within the larger volume.

The white oak used throughout the house quietly unifies spaces and adds a sense of permanence and well-being.
