Position: Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Arrow Builders is seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering design-driven residential construction projects in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area. The Project Manager must support building efforts with precision and purpose, manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and project partners. Success in this role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach. Beyond project execution, this is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the company’s overall growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Projects with Purpose: Oversee the construction phase to ensure projects are executed on time, on budget, and with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Partner Proactively: Build strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, and craftspeople to foster seamless communication and alignment.

  • Manage Budgets: Control project budgets to protect both design integrity and financial goals.

  • Master Scheduling: Develop and oversee critical path schedules to ensure milestones are met while maintaining flexibility to adapt as projects evolve.

  • Uphold High Standards: Prioritize quality control from pre-construction planning to final punch lists to ensure every detail reflects Arrow Builders’ commitment to excellence.

  • Streamline Processes: Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders, punch lists and project close-out with a clear and organized approach.

  • Coordinate Resources: Optimize the use of materials, equipment, and teams to maintain efficiency and momentum on-site.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in residential construction.

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and sequencing.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects at once.

  • Solutions-oriented and decisive, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and other office software, with the ability to leverage digital tools—spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.

  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism. Maintain client confidentiality while navigating complex situations with integrity and discretion.
